Head of Purchasing (m/f/d)
iwis smart connect GmbH in Rieden am Forggensee
Alternative drives and sustainable energy sources are the pillars of the industrial future.
In addition to battery contact systems for electric vehicles, we jointly develop products for use in sensor technology of autonomous vehicles or connectors for alternative energies.
The success of iwis smart connect is based on 380 dedicated employees and, together with two other companies, secures the future of the iwis smart connect division.
This is one of three independently operating business units of the iwis Group.
As Head of Purchasing (m/f/d), your tasks are:
- Technical and disciplinary responsibility for the purchasing department
- Management of strategic and operational purchasing across the entire purchasing volume, taking into account costs, quality, and service
- Management of the raw material commodity group (non-ferrous metals), as well as a defined supplier and article base
- Optimization of the value stream chain to and from external suppliers
- Maintenance of supplier relationships and conducting supplier audits, analysis and monitoring of the purchasing market
- Implementation of our quality requirements as well as customer-specific demands and forwarding to suppliers
- Support in defining and implementing supplier guidelines, quality standards, and processes
- Capacity assurance and global procurement of components, raw materials, consumables, services, etc.
- Conducting purchasing controlling
- Identification and analysis of new national and international procurement markets with a focus on Asia
- Sustainability management in purchasing (LkSG etc.)
You bring with you:
- Successfully completed studies with a technical focus or several years of professional experience in supplier development and purchasing
- Audit experience is an advantage
- Strong team and communication skills as well as a high process and value creation orientation
- SAP knowledge
- Negotiation skills
- Leadership competence
- English spoken and written
