As an Electronics Engineer, you will take on a key role at our global headquarters in Pfäffikon/SZ in the development of our electrical and electronic systems. You will work along the entire product lifecycle – from the concept phase through prototyping and validation to series maturity and market support – and make a significant contribution to the innovative and technically demanding products of the Condair Group.
In doing so, you will work closely in interdisciplinary project teams with application specialists and other experts, also in an international environment, to successfully position our products and projects in the global market. The role also offers the opportunity for professional development up to greater responsibility, depending on interest, suitability, and personal development path.
YOUR TASKS
- Development and design of electrical and electronic systems
- Creation of circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and selection of suitable components
- Construction, testing, and verification of prototypes including troubleshooting and optimisation
- Close collaboration with mechanics, software, manufacturing engineering, and product management
- Technical responsibility for tasks from requirements to final solution
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, design guides, and lessons learned
- Participation in projects, technical reviews, and interdisciplinary development teams
- Conducting risk analyses, DFMEA, and quality improvements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. CE, UL)
WHAT YOU BRING
- Degree in electrical engineering or a related field (ETH/University/FH)
- Several years of professional experience in electronics or electrical development, ideally in an industrial environment
- Very good knowledge of circuit design, measurement technology, and PCB-related development
- Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
- Experience with standards, conformity assessment, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in interdisciplinary work and technical project work
- Very good communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge of common development and collaboration tools (e.g. Altium, Git, Azure DevOps)
