Your Tasks
- Documentation of nursing and medical measures
- Close cooperation with the OR/Anaesthesia team
- Preparation, assistance and follow-up of general and regional anaesthesia
- Professional care and monitoring of patients before, during and after anaesthesia
- Assistance with the induction, maintenance and emergence from anaesthesia procedures
- Preparation, operation and functional checks of anaesthesia devices, monitoring systems and medical-technical equipment
- Monitoring vital parameters as well as recognising and reporting changes in patient status
- Preparation and provision of medications, infusions and medical materials according to medical orders
- Ensuring and compliance with applicable hygiene, quality and safety standards
- Documentation of all anaesthesia-relevant measures and observations
- Participation in emergency measures and resuscitation situations
- Organisation and coordination of workflows in the anaesthesia area
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with the medical service, the OR team, the intensive care unit and other specialist departments
- Accompanying and caring for patients in the recovery room after appropriate task delegation
- Participation in on-call and standby duties
- Participation in shock room management and coverage of the in-house MAX alarm (resuscitation call)
- Support in the induction of new employees as well as the supervision of trainees and interns
- Participation in internal training and quality assurance measures
Your Profile
- Completed training as a nursing specialist with experience in anaesthesia care or completed training as an ATA
- Ideally further training in anaesthesia and intensive care or willingness to undertake this
- Professional experience in the anaesthesia field desirable
- High sense of responsibility and strong patient orientation
- Teamwork skills, reliability and flexibility
- Independent, structured and careful working style
- Resilience even in demanding situations
