The Department of Actuarial Science of the Faculty of Business and Economics is looking for a Graduate Assistant
Job information
Start date: August 1, 2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year. The contract can be renewed for 2 x 2 years. The total maximum funding period is 5 years.
Type of position: 80%, additions upon agreement
Please of work: Lausanne Dorigny, Extranef building
Salary: Pay scales
Supervisor: Prof. Joël Wagner
Your responsibilities
50% of the time will be dedicated to completion of doctoral studies in actuarial science.
50% of the assistant's time will be dedicated to teaching, administrative (including exam supervision), technical and research support for the department.
Your qualifications
Master of Science (MSc) in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
Desire to deepen the knowledge in actuarial science through empirical research and to write a doctoral thesis in actuarial science.
Fluent in French and English. Command of German is an additional asset.
Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
