The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is a leading intercantonal hospital, bringing together more than 2,500 employees. To strengthen our Technical & Infrastructure Service, we are looking for a:
Infrastructure Maintenance Technician (specialised in HVAC)
You will join the Infrastructure Maintenance Unit, mainly based at the Rennaz hospital site. Within a multidisciplinary technical team, you will contribute to maintaining operational conditions, safety and performance of the technical installations essential for the continuous operation of the hospital.
Particular attention will be given to applications with experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary systems or building technical regulation.
The main duties of this position are
- Ensure preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance of the building’s technical installations, mainly in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary fields.
- Diagnose faults, malfunctions and operational drifts, then carry out or coordinate the necessary interventions.
- Operate, monitor and optimise HVAC installations using supervision, regulation and building management system tools - Siemens DESIGO BMS/SCADA.
- Perform periodic checks, technical readings and functional tests necessary for the availability and safety of the installations.
- Carry out routine technical work as well as modifications or improvements on existing equipment and installations.
- Participate in the analysis of technical incidents and propose sustainable corrective actions.
- Contribute to improving energy performance, reliability and lifespan of the installations.
- Monitor external service providers’ interventions and control the quality of services performed.
- Record interventions, working times and technical information in the CMMS.
- Participate, as required by the organisation, in the technical on-call service and interventions outside normal hours.
We require
- A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a relevant technical field, for example: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary installer, maintenance mechanic, automation technician, maintenance technician or equivalent training.
- A specialisation or proven experience in HVAC is an advantage.
- Experience in maintenance and operation of complex technical installations, ideally in a hospital, industrial, pharmaceutical or tertiary environment.
- Knowledge of BMS, SCADA, building automation or technical supervision is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, schematic diagrams, hydraulic and electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
- Good command of IT tools and CMMS software.
- Good command of French, both spoken and written.
- Good team spirit, a strong service orientation and communication adapted to different interlocutors.
- Availability to participate in the on-call service, according to the current organisation.
- A category B driving licence.
