The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete the Surgery team at the Rennaz site, we are looking for a:
Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) M/F at 60%-70%
The main responsibilities of this position are
- Organize, perform, monitor, and document care services and medico-technical acts delegated by the nurse and authorized by the ASSC status, in stable situations presenting no emergency character
- Collaborate in the smooth running of the service's activities
- Promote the interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork specific to the service's mission
- Promote, by delegation, the involvement of the patient in their care project as well as that of their relatives
We require
- A Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant
- A motivated person to care for seniors according to best practices in Geriatrics and Rehabilitation
- A rigorous, organized, and dynamic person with excellent communication skills
- An interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Adaptability to change and commitment to the service's project
- Proficiency in French and hospital-specific IT tools
