Polymechanic – Tool Manufacturing
Activities
- Manufacture of precision grinding tools from A to Z, in particular:
- Produce green body: weigh powder, fill molds and hot press, clean molds
- Turn bodies: mainly on conventional machines, but also on CNC machines
- Dress (grind) grinding surfaces, possibly glue beforehand
- Balance and label bodies
- Single pieces, small series and prototypes (usually 1 piece up to 50 pieces)
- Depending on skills, additional tasks are also conceivable (e.g. conceptualize and manufacture operating resources, maintenance)
Requirements
- Training as a polymechanic or production mechanic EFZ
- Quality awareness
- Good, structured way of working
- Initiative
- Ability to think ahead
- Self-organization of appointments and tasks
