Apprentice in the 1st or 2nd Year of Training

To complement our «Fugu» daycare team Zurich Freilager, we are looking for an apprentice in the 1st or 2nd year of training starting immediately or by arrangement

«Fugu» daycares are a private company committed to expanding family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our largest «Fugu» daycare is located in the middle of the car-free and family-friendly Freilager district in Zurich Albisrieden. On 850m2, children from 3 months up to kindergarten age are cared for. The green spaces and playgrounds between the buildings invite children to discover and play outdoors. Due to the central location, the daycare is easily accessible by public transport. Our cook provides delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The daycare is designed for 7 groups. Opening hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

We are committed to your training! Several people are involved in your education: our training supervisors, practical instructors, and pedagogical angels. They support you with their expertise and assist you in achieving your training goals. We go a step further. In addition to the usual learning objectives, you will take on additional responsible tasks. This opens many opportunities for you with us after your training.

TASKS

• Learning professional knowledge and applying it in practice
• Supporting the group leader in managing the children's group based on the pedagogical principles of the «Fugu» daycares
• Actively planning the daily daycare routine
• Independently and/or co-organizing celebrations, festivals, and events

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed compulsory schooling and started training as a childcare specialist EFZ, specializing in children
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and motivated to learn new things
• Resilient
• Good manners
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
