Mauro Eicher becomes new member of the Executive Board at NKB

About the job

With Mauro Eicher, NKB gains an experienced leader with proven expertise in operations, sales support, processes, finance, and strategic projects. Most recently, the qualified banker served as Head of Operations at Luzerner Kantonalbank. In this role, he held overall responsibility for the back office and was in charge of credit processing, securities and trade processing, the service centre, and payment transactions. He also led cross-departmental projects at the bank-wide level and managed a division with around 90 employees both professionally and personally.

Mauro Eicher has a broad academic and banking professional record. He completed a MAS Corporate Finance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts/FHZ and a CAS in Banking Operations Management at the University of St. Gallen, as well as the CAS Leadership at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Mauro Eicher lives with his family in Lucerne, is married, and father of three adult children. In his free time, he devotes himself to sport, hiking, travelling, and reading. He will start his new position in Stans on 1 September 2026 and is very much looking forward to his new challenge: "Nidwaldner Kantonalbank stands for customer proximity, quality, and sustainable development.
