The Traffic Unit (EG-Verkehr) is part of the Winterthur City Police and ensures safety on our streets day and night. Your tasks
- Patrol service with radio patrol vehicles and operational motorcycles
- Control of stationary and moving traffic
- Conducting traffic police focus controls
- Specialist responsibility in various topics
- Intervention in disturbances and conflicts in the traffic area and additionally support of other police services as needed
