We are currently building a new meter gauge center in the area of track – for this, we are looking for an initiative personality in Brig (Glisergrund) as Project Manager Meter Gauge Center Track.Your Field of Action
- Project manager of the meter gauge center track within RAILplus*
- Coordination and technical leadership of the competence team
- Support of track asset management in technical, strategic, and operational matters
- Professional support and advice for railways in German and Western Switzerland within the framework of the meter gauge center
- Development and further development of standards, guidelines, and best practices for the area of track
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners (e.g. universities, industry, other railways)
*Under the umbrella organization RAILplus, three meter gauge centers (Interaction, Track, and Vehicle) are being established. The meter gauge center track offers specialized services in the areas of asset management, research, and knowledge transfer for railway operators, infrastructure companies, and their stakeholders. The goal is to significantly improve the overall economic efficiency of the vehicle/track system.
Your Profile
- You have a completed degree in civil engineering, traffic/railway technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification. Further training in business administration would be an advantage
- You have solid knowledge and several years of experience in a field of railway infrastructure, preferably in the area of track
- Ideally, you can demonstrate several years of professional experience in project management and in building specialist structures or organizational units
- You work in a structured and independent manner and are solution-oriented
- You are an entrepreneurial and analytical thinker and doer with strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and high social competence
- You have very good German and French language skills (at least B2 in both languages)
