With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical center focused on the elderly and is composed of 6 services spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It handles acute situations, notably through the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne hospital, age-related specific problems, medical rehabilitation, and palliative care.
Job Description
Attached to the administration of the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics, you support the administrative and financial manager and her team in the budgeting process and actively collaborate in the effective management of the department and its services by providing your financial expertise.
You support the development of the budget and objectives of the department and its services, and you participate in the implementation and monitoring of indicators and dashboards to verify their execution.
You participate in the operational management control of the services, in reporting (financial and activity), and assist the service managers in their operational management.
You may be required to carry out economic and financial analyses related to the activity.
Qualifications
You hold a university or HES degree in economics or business management. Additional training in management control, a federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting, or equivalent, is an asset.
You have in-depth knowledge of budgeting processes, management control, accounting, reporting, and dashboards.
You are comfortable using the usual IT tools for this function (MS Office (advanced Excel use required), Business Object or other data analysis software, and have good knowledge of an ERP such as Qualiac).
You have experience in a hospital environment and/or in management control in a health-related environment.
Organized and rigorous, you are able to work autonomously but also as part of a team and demonstrate adaptability. You know how to manage priorities and take necessary initiatives.
Endowed with strong analytical and synthesis skills, you are comfortable identifying financial issues and explaining significant variances. Pragmatic and quick-witted, you propose solutions adapted to the challenges while respecting the current framework.
Flexible and possessing good interpersonal skills, you know how to develop constructive relationships with your interlocutors.
You have a sense of confidentiality.
