As part of the development of our Claims Division in the P&C Department, specialized in claims management and recognized for the quality of its customer service, we are looking for a versatile Claims Manager – Liability and Water Damage (m/f/x) with an activity rate between 80% and 100%. In this role, you are responsible for the versatile management of insurance claims files, liability, and property insurance. You actively contribute to providing quality service to our insureds, in close collaboration with our agencies.
You will join the Claims service for French-speaking Switzerland, composed of about twenty managers. This dynamic and committed team offers a collaborative work environment conducive to professional development and the enhancement of your skills.
The tasks awaiting you:
Manage client files from the assigned portfolio:
- Open claims files, ensure correspondence follow-up, and manage telephone exchanges
- Process, monitor, and validate expense payments, including decision-making
- Investigate and follow up on claims, both material and bodily injury
- Analyze cases and assess liabilities according to the law
- Manage recourse actions against third parties and ensure follow-up
- Strictly apply the general insurance conditions
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments and partners, as well as provide technical support to our agency network
What makes you unique:
- Vocational training (CFC level), complemented by several years of experience in a similar position; a federal specialist insurance certificate is an asset
- Significant experience in claims management in insurance
- Proficiency with common IT tools (MS Office)
- Perfect command of French, both spoken and written
