To strengthen our Sales & Distribution team, we are looking for a person to fill the position of:
Ticket Inspector
Your tasks
As a true ambassador of TRAVYS, you are in daily contact with our customers and contribute to providing a safe, pleasant and quality travel experience. You ensure compliance with transport conditions while providing professional reception and personalised support to travellers.
In this role, you will notably be required to:
- Check tickets across the entire TRAVYS network in compliance with procedures and safety rules;
- Inform, advise and guide travellers regarding timetables, connections, routes, fares and network disruptions;
- Assist customers requiring special assistance (people with reduced mobility, families, children or other travellers in difficulty);
- Issue infringement notices, carry out identity checks in accordance with legal provisions and collect due amounts when necessary;
- Ensure compliance with behavioural rules on board vehicles and in stations, while contributing to travellers’ sense of security;
- Manage delicate situations calmly, professionally and with a de-escalation approach;
- Report anomalies observed on the network (cleanliness, equipment, signage, disruptions) and liaise with the relevant services;
- Prepare intervention reports, ensure administrative follow-up of checks and guarantee the reliability of transmitted information;
- Contribute to maintaining a positive image of TRAVYS through exemplary behaviour and excellent customer service skills.
Your profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or an equivalent qualification;
- You ideally have experience in a field related to customer service, security, inspection or public transport;
- You enjoy customer contact and have an excellent sense of service;
- You demonstrate confidence, composure and know how to handle conflict situations with diplomacy and professionalism;
- You are an honest, reliable person capable of applying rules with discernment and fairness;
- You communicate easily and know how to adopt an appropriate stance for each situation;
- You are comfortable with digital tools and inspection devices;
- You are willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays;
- You hold a category B driving licence.
