The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th primary class in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays.
In the care facility KICK Dorf around 180 children with different social and cultural backgrounds are cared for. To support the care team, we are looking for a
Group Leader 75% in Lower School
Your tasks
- Your working hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and either Wednesday or Friday from 09:30 to 18:00. Additionally, participation in holiday care for two weeks per year
- Educational and organisational leadership of a group of primary school children in 1st and 2nd primary level
- Promotion of children in social and emotional areas in close cooperation with the care team
- Management of a multi-person care team of 4-6 employees
- Collaboration with parents, school team and the municipality
Your profile
- You have completed training as a social pedagogue, FaBe childcare or a pedagogical qualification or have a Swiss diploma recognition for a comparable foreign diploma
- Professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten and primary school age and already experience as a group leader
- Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience and independence
- Very good oral and written German skills (minimum C1); English skills are an advantage
- Ideally a qualification as a vocational trainer
