In our heart-lung practice at Spalenring in Basel, our experienced team of 7 cardiologists and 3 pneumologists offers patients interdisciplinary medical care at the highest level for cardiopulmonary complaints. Modern, inviting rooms in the historic building provide a unique atmosphere. To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a patient-oriented, committed, and reliable person as Specialist FMH in Pneumology (with or without department management) 60 - 100%.

• You are independently responsible within the framework of the consultation hours for a wide range of pneumological assessments such as: body plethysmography, bronchospasmolysis and methacholine provocation test, CO and NO measurements in exhaled air, 5-minute walk test, spiroergometry.
• You initiate and monitor ventilation therapies for sleep-related breathing disorders.
• You interpret nocturnal pulse oximetries and polygraphies assigned to us by referrers from all over Switzerland.
• Maintaining active contact with referring physicians is also part of your daily tasks.
• You lead the pneumology department with further development of the area. You engage in projects, process optimization, quality assurance, and take responsibility for equipment.
• Specialist FMH in Pneumology or comparable foreign qualification with MEBEKO recognition and at least 3 years of professional experience with 100% activity at a recognized Swiss training center.
• Very good German skills; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel); knowledge of practice software is an advantage.
