Operator / Machine Operator (a) SMT Microelectronics Zurich City

Microdul AG in Zurich City specialises in high-quality microelectronics with around 100 employees and three business areas: Modules, Semiconductors and Thick Film. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturised electronic circuits, realised in close cooperation with our customers - mainly in medical technology. We are looking for a new team member for the assembly department by arrangement.

• Populating printed circuit boards using machines including setup and dismantling (SMD technology)
• Processing and preparation of placement data for the SMD placement process
• Carrying out reflow soldering processes
• Printing substrates with solder paste or adhesive using screen and stencil printing methods
• Performing inline inspections with the binocular microscope according to IPC-A-610 guidelines
• Loading components and materials into the machines and ensuring correct alignment.
• Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and efficiency, including performing visual inspections and quality controls
• Maintenance and cleaning of the SMD equipment

• Basic knowledge of electronics and familiarity with printed circuit board assembly.
• Experience with soldering techniques reflow/SMD soldering.
• You hold a valid IPC-A-610 soldering certificate and have several years of experience working with the binocular microscope
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Good English skills in oral communication
• Excellent manual dexterity and very good fine motor skills
• High reliability, independence and a careful working style
• Experience in fault analysis and process optimisation
• Experience in maintenance and servicing of production machines (advantageous)
• Experience working under cleanroom conditions (advantageous)
