As a lecturer at the Institute for Risk & Insurance in the Business Mathematics team, you will take on tasks in all four service areas, i.e., in teaching, continuing education, research & development, as well as in services, in particular:
- Quantitative lectures (Applied Business Mathematics, Data Science, and Actuarial Science)
- Lectures in the finance, pension fund, and insurance sectors
- Acquisition of projects and collaboration (services, Innosuisse projects, etc.)
- Publications in the finance and insurance economics sector (in professional journals, studies, newspapers)
- Continuing education: activity in MAS Insurance Management and/or in pension fund expert training
- Representation of the institute in the Swiss insurance and finance sector
- Completed doctorate in mathematics, economics, or computer science / natural sciences
- Additional qualifications such as SAV actuary or pension fund expert are an advantage
- Methodical-didactic qualification/experience in teaching and continuing education
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
