As a Project Manager SAS, you take overall client-side responsibility for the planning and realisation of secondary technology and substation projects for our client. You manage complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Your main tasks
- Overall responsibility for client-side project management of network construction projects in the SAS (substation) area
- Coordination and optimisation of assigned projects ensuring timely and cost-efficient implementation
- Leadership of the project team including external planning, service, and supply partners
- Assuming entrepreneurial responsibility from project phase 31 to 53 according to SIA 112 performance model
- Ensuring management system-compliant implementation of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
Your profile
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Business
- At least 5 years of experience in project management of SAS projects (substation / switchgear)
- Expertise in planning, design, realisation, or operation of power generation or transmission systems with in-depth knowledge of substation control systems and substations
- Excellent command of the SIA methodology for complex infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills – able to convey technical content clearly and moderate workgroups goal-oriented
- Ability to explain technical contexts understandably to non-specialist audiences and the public
- Good business management knowledge
- High social competence, solution orientation, and ability to develop external partners
- Languages: French (native or very good), German (advanced), English (advanced)
- Confident use of MS Office, SAP, and common project management tools
