The Baselland Red Cross is committed to supporting people in need with a variety of services. Around 130 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region.
In the Social & Integration department, we are looking for a coordinator 50% starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You ensure the smooth running of the volunteer program "right among us" in the municipalities of Pratteln and Allschwil. For this, you actively look for children and volunteers, introduce them to their tasks, and accompany the tandems.
- You coordinate our "Writing Room" offer and support the volunteers in action (e.g., with exchange meetings and further training).
- You maintain our network with relevant contacts, especially in the areas of asylum/migration, social services/counseling, and volunteer work.
- You take care of making the offers known, e.g., with stand actions and postings.
Your profile
- You have completed vocational training in the social field and bring experience in working with people with a migration background and families.
- You have experience in project management.
- Ideally, you are already familiar with working with volunteers.
- MS Office is a matter of course for you.
- Your working method is careful, and you are familiar with handling sensitive data.
