About the job
Together with its partners, the St. Gallen Building Insurance (GVSG) protects its customers from fire and natural hazards and supports them in the event of damage. It is committed to damage prevention as well as to the fire service and offers insurance coverage in the event of an incident. As an independent public-law company, it employs around 60 full-time and 160 part-time staff. Damage prevention includes the entire field of structural and technical fire protection. The Prevention department takes on this responsible task.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Fire Protection Expert
Workload: 80-100 %
Workplace: St. Gallen
Your tasks
- Advising builders, fire protection and specialist planners
- Review and approval of fire protection concepts within the framework of building permit procedures
- Carrying out acceptance and periodic fire protection inspections
- Participation in training and further education events
Your profile
- Fire protection expert with a federal diploma or comparable qualification or in training for this
- Completed studies in architecture or civil engineering or basic professional training in construction or construction planning with corresponding further training
- Independent working style and organisational skills
- Service- and customer-oriented work attitude
