The Corporate Functions division encompasses the Group’s non-banking activities and comprises over 600 employees. Staffed by specialists with deep expertise across all business lines, the central functions are organised into various group departments: Communication, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk, and Taxation.
Group Finance is dedicated to ensuring robust financial management and reporting, supporting the Group’s strategic objectives through effective financial operations, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
As a member of the Group Finance community, the Senior Finance Manager will join the Accounting, Data & Reporting team, reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting Solutions. The role will involve close collaboration with all members of the Accounting, Data & Reporting team, as well as with other internal teams, to ensure the effective management of financial operations and reporting.
Your role
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and executing core financial processes within the Group Finance function. You will leverage your strong finance expertise and understanding of the banking industry to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data and reporting.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Participate in finance-related projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation of new regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including data maintenance, reconciliations, and operational controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of financial, regulatory and management reports, ensuring consistency with both regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate closely with all members of the Accounting, Data & Reporting team and other internal stakeholders, including Finance, Risk, and IT teams, to gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive process optimization.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and implementing recommendations.
• Maintain the Internal Control System (ICS), to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of finance processes and procedures.
Your profile
• Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
• At least ten years’ experience in the banking industry within a Finance department and/or in external audit.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations, controls, and reporting processes.
• Strong proactivity, adaptability, autonomy, curiosity, and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Must be a resident in Switzerland.
