Your future rôle :
Take on a new challenge and leverage your expertise in data analysis and digitalization. As a Methods & Tools Quality Engineer (VIE), you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and process optimization within the Quality department.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Quality Defect Data Automation: Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow (using Power Automate, API …)
- Line Quality Animation: Create interactive dashboards and insightful reports using Power BI and/or Qlik Sense to support decision-making and reroute quality checks where it is needed the most.
- Cluster Defects and Predict Incoming issues: Apply Machine Learning algorithms to clusterize reported train defects. Propose innovative ideas for implementing predictive models to anticipate future defects and improve reliability.
- Process Optimization: Analyse workflows and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce variability.
- Process Automation: Implement digital tools (user PowerApps for instance) and automation strategies to streamline quality processes and reduce manual interventions.
Qualifications and requirements :
- Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Data, Digital Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Programming & Data Science: Solid knowledge of Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) for data analysis and machine learning.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with Power BI and/or Qlik Sense for dashboard creation.
- Automation Tools: Basic knowledge of Power Automate and workflow automation.
- Data Handling: SQL and data pipeline fundamentals.
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Autonomy, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Lean & Six-Sigma is a plus
- Good communication skills in English, French and German is a plus
- Experience: Previous internships or academic projects in data analysis, machine learning, or process automation are appreciated but not mandatory (0–5 years experience).
