Are you an analytical, responsible and solution-oriented individual with a strong interest in compliance in the public sector? Do you enjoy working both strategically and operationally, preparing complex regulatory matters in an understandable way and maintaining an overview even in demanding situations? This newly created position is understood as an independent governance and compliance entity and reports directly to the Board of Directors. The start date is negotiable. Your tasks
- You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of compliance.
- You advise the Board of Directors on legal matters.
- You coordinate the mandate of the internal audit.
- You support the Board Secretariat and act as its deputy.
- You train and raise awareness among employees on compliance and legal topics.
- You analyse and assess compliance risks in strategic and operational business.
- You build up the compliance management system and continuously develop it further.
Your competencies
- You have a completed law degree as well as a lawyer's licence or an equivalent qualification.
- You have completed relevant further training in compliance management, public governance or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of professional experience in compliance or legal advice in the public sector.
- You have very good knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the public sector.
- You work precisely, efficiently and solution-oriented and are able to formulate complex legal issues clearly and understandably.
- You are a team player, independent and resilient personality who takes responsibility and enjoys making decisions.

Wirtschaft Arbeit Soziales is the Lucerne centre for social insurance and the labour market. The business area WAS Services offers the umbrella organisation and the other associated business areas compensation office, IV and wira diverse support. We are moving; from 5 June 2026 the new workplace will be at Langsägestrasse 13, 6010 Kriens (Eichhof West).
