Attached to the Department of Medicine, the Cardiology Service manages, on diagnostic and non-surgical therapeutic levels, adult patients suffering from cardiac pathology. It performs endovascular interventions on cardiac and peripheral vessels, the myocardium, and valves.
Job Description
You will provide secretarial support to a professor responsible for a specialised interventional cardiology unit.
You will contribute to the smooth administrative and organisational functioning of the unit, providing direct support to the professor and their team.
You will ensure the daily management of administrative activities, coordination of medical and academic schedules, as well as follow-up of patient files and scientific activities.
You will play a key role in the flow of information and in organising clinical and academic activities, in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee and/or a diploma as a medical secretary or equivalent training deemed appropriate.
You possess excellent command of spelling in French and English as well as medical terminology.
You demonstrate organisation and reliability. You have the tools to handle unforeseen events and thus easily manage stressful situations and priorities.
You have a strong team spirit and the ability to work in a shared office with several secretaries and have excellent interpersonal skills.
While having an excellent sense of organisation and priorities, you are autonomous, dynamic, rigorous, and precise in the tasks entrusted to you.
Your adaptability and versatility will allow you to support managers in their administrative activities.
You have very good knowledge of IT tools as well as software used at the HUG (DPA, DPI, GRECO, OPALE) and existing application programmes.
You have 3 to 4 years of successful experience in a similar position within a demanding medical secretariat.
You demonstrate rigour, planning skills, organisation, prioritisation, and great versatility. You have the ability to comply with standards and procedures.
Finally, you show a keen sense of confidentiality.
