Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your traction project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Martin BOHAC - Site Project Engineering Manager in Zürich - CH, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated international teammates.
You'll specifically take care of delivering international traction projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Engineering Manager, Quality, Procurement, Operations, Contracts and Requirements Managers, Finance, Customers and Suppliers). You'll be the person the team turns to for momentum and to push projects forward. No two days are the same, but day-to-day you’ll manage costing schedules, enable those around you to excel, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of:
- Achieve QCDP objectives of the traction project and ensure sub-system requirements are implemented
- Apply Project Strategy according to defined contractual and Project commitments and targets, as allocated on sub-system
- Plan, monitor, control and manage project end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, saving, opportunities)
We’ll look to you for:
- Actively contribute to Project performance
- Alert in case of deviations impacting project objectives; actively contribute to risks, savings and opportunity management
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards, process & tools: Code of Ethics & Compliance, Environment Health & Safety and Quality
- Plan, monitor, control and manage project end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, saving, opportunities)
- Coordinate and support consistent cross-functional execution objectives, activities and deliverables (Engineering, R&D programs, Procurement, Supply Chain, Indus when applicable, Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety (RAMS), etc.)
- Lead teams in successful achievement of project objectives, synchronize stakeholders at traction level and ensure stakeholder alignments
- Perform sub-system level decisions and trade-offs, implement change management at sub-system level
- Manage sub-system situation and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and report with transparency

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Traction business and project execution/product development
- Passion for project management
- Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-métier teams
- Being able to understand the organization, the processes and the products involved and decide independently when significant impact on QCD make it necessary to involve next level
- Ability to gain and apply insight from every project
- Flair for leading and influencing others
