Product Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Support in the creation and implementation of business plans for existing and new products

• Technical maintenance of the existing product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle, including the resulting technical requirements for sales, development, manufacturing and quality

• Technical interface between product management/sales and other departments

• Technical analysis of customer enquiries and requirements

• Preparation of quotation inputs as well as technical specifications

• Collaboration in the creation and implementation of market and competitor analyses

• Product-related support of sales in operational business

What do I need to be successful?

• Diploma or Master’s degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering

• Additional business administration training is an advantage

• Professional experience in application engineering, product management or technical sales, ideally in the field of optics or optical design

• Good technical understanding in the field of optics and opto-/electro-/mechanical systems

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, laser material processing and optical data transmission is an additional plus

• Good methodological skills, especially analytical ability and conceptual work

• High social competence and customer orientation as well as willingness to take responsibility and reliability

• Confident handling of Microsoft Office, ERP software (SAP), Microsoft Project

• Excellent communication skills in German and English

• Willingness to travel 10-15%
