Specialist in Sports Facilities (100%) - Focus on Customer Service
From 1 October 2026, we are looking for a service-oriented, reliable and sport-affine personality for the newly created position in the Leisure and Sports Facilities Department as
Your main tasks:
Maintenance & Care of Sports Facilities
- Participation in the professional care of sports surfaces (natural and artificial turf), parks and traffic areas
- Carrying out repair and maintenance work on sports equipment, structural facilities and machines
- Responsibility for safety, order and cleanliness throughout the facilities
Guest Service & Infrastructure
- Competent care, advice and support of our guests
- Contact person for sports clubs and organisers, including advice on optimal use of the facilities
- Ensuring the correct use of sports, facility and building infrastructure
Organisation & Support
- Participation in sports events
- Support in the pool operations (indoor pool/beach pool) as well as on-call duty
What you bring with you:
Professional Qualifications
- Completed training as a gardener specialising in garden, landscape and sports field construction or basic craft training with experience in green and sports field maintenance
- Ideally Swiss Lifeguard Certificate including BLS/AED or willingness to obtain it
- Advantageous: Experience working as a sports coordinator
Personal Attributes
- High physical resilience and enjoyment of working outdoors
- Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts as well as assignments at other municipal leisure facilities
- Independent, assertive personality
- Strong service and customer orientation
- Friendly and courteous manner
