Who are we?
The Child and Youth Service (SEJ) is committed to the children and young people of the canton of Fribourg. It is the specialised cantonal service responsible for implementing policy in favour of children and youth and child protection. Its services are aimed at children, young people, their families, various authorities and anyone in contact with children or young people

The internship is offered for a duration of 6 months (extendable).

Your tasks
You will conduct research on legislation, case law and doctrine in various areas of law, particularly family law and child protection law. You will participate in managing the preliminary approval procedure for municipal regulations concerning out-of-family care. You will provide legal advice to the service management, staff, municipalities and care structures and carry out administrative work related to the assigned files
Desired profile
- Master's degree in law (mandatory)
- Interest in child protection and its legislation
- Excellent synthesis skills, good analytical abilities and writing skills
- Ability to work independently, organisational and planning skills
- Fluent command of French, both spoken and written, with knowledge of German
