The city police, with its over 250 employees, is committed to a safe and trustworthy Winterthur. To complement our traffic monitoring and regulatory fines team, we are looking for a motivated clerk starting 01.01.2026 or by arrangement. - Control, account management, and integration of incoming payments (accounts receivable accounting)
- Fine administration: evaluating and preparing data from automatic traffic monitoring systems, identifying vehicle owners, printing/sending violation notices/reminders/requests for administrative assistance, initiating further procedures concerning the regulatory fines law and ordinary procedures
- Providing information regarding regulatory fines and parking/access permits (in person at the counter, by phone, electronically) as well as correspondence with various internal and external authorities
- Administration of digital parking/access permits (review and processing of applications)
- Service at the counter
Your Profile
- Commercial qualification (federal certificate of competence profile B, E or M), police assistant qualification, or a comparable education (e.g., Matura)
- Professional experience within a city administration (area of regulatory fines and/or permits) is an advantage
- Very good IT skills (Microsoft Office, digital competencies, job-related application programs) as well as language skills in spoken and written form are an advantage
- Independent, resilient, team-oriented, and conscientious personality with high social competence
