About the job

As a designer, you learn to develop, model, and design mechanical devices, machines, and systems. The training is divided into two halves. The first half of the training takes place in the modern "Design Department". Here, you receive comprehensive basic knowledge of drawing techniques. The fundamentals of design technology and project execution are also taught. In between, you apply this knowledge using 3D CAD. Additionally, in the first two years of education, you get to know the areas of manufacturing, assembly, 3D printing, and automation. Your training as a designer is split across three learning locations: vocational school, inter-company courses (ÜK), and in-company training. Since our company is exempt from ÜK, you receive the entire training, except for vocational school, within our company. Afterwards, you can apply your acquired skills in the second half of the training in the departments. After the partial examination at the end of the second year, you leave the "Design Department" and work productively in one of the various technical departments. Your tasks include sketching, designing, and developing. You create manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and work closely with various departments and suppliers. You actively help to develop the machines of tomorrow.
