Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and efficient versatile driver to join our Non-Medical Transport team. As an ambassador of the Genolier Clinic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of patients, management members, or equipment, while respecting traffic rules and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Driving various types of vehicles as required.
• Planning and optimising routes to ensure journey efficiency.
• Performing basic maintenance and safety checks on vehicles.
• Loading, unloading, and securing goods.
• Keeping accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle conditions.
• Maintaining smooth communication with your supervisor and team members.
• Professionally representing the clinic to clients and the public.
• Flexibility regarding schedule and priority changes.
• Participating in various tasks related to administration, transport, and logistics.

Qualifications

We require candidates to possess the following essential qualifications:

• A valid driving licence and a clean criminal record are non-negotiable prerequisites.
• Proximity to the clinic is crucial; residence within a 30-minute radius is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of professional driving experience.
• Demonstrated competence in driving a wide range of vehicles is imperative.
• Thorough knowledge of and strict adherence to the highway code and safety protocols are paramount.
• Navigation skills, particularly in the Lake Geneva region, are indispensable.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
• Advanced computer skills are required for effective task management.
• Organisational and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Good physical condition and endurance are essential, given the demands of prolonged driving periods and manual handling tasks.
• A secondary school diploma or equivalent academic qualification is required.
• Flexibility in working hours is essential, including willingness to work evenings and weekends as operational needs dictate.
• A strong service orientation and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for this position.
