Tafers is the German-speaking main town of the Sense district in the bilingual canton of Fribourg. The General Internal Medicine at the Tafers location consists of the ward where (from September 2025) about 40 beds will be used to care for inpatients with internal medical diseases of all kinds. In addition, the General Internal Medicine has an attached day clinic where patients are treated on an outpatient basis. There is also an interdisciplinary on-call service (08:00 to 18:00). In total, about 1,000 inpatients and 10,000 outpatients are treated annually, with a continuously increasing patient volume observed.
To strengthen our team, we are therefore looking for an
Assistant Physician
(100%, part-time or job sharing possible)
Your tasks
- You will take over the treatment of patients with internal medical diseases on the general ward under regular supervision; alternating with work in the attached interdisciplinary on-call service.
- You will supervise medical students.

Your profile
- Motivation, enjoyment of working as a physician
- Federal medical diploma or foreign medical diploma with Medreg registration
- German-speaking with good knowledge of French or vice versa (good German skills are important)
- Beginners are welcome and will be individually supported
Start date: from July 2027 or by arrangement
