Field of activity
He/She commits to integrating into the Department of Philosophy and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, at the levels of teaching, research, and administration, as well as to leading research projects and obtaining third-party funding
The candidate is a specialist in theoretical philosophy to provide comprehensive and high-level scientific teaching. He/She will contribute to the development of research within the Department of Philosophy, including activities of the EXRE network. He/She will be able to consider interdisciplinary perspectives in collaboration with other departments and institutes of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, for example in the fields of psychology and language sciences
Requirements
The candidate holds a doctorate with in-depth specialization in at least two of the following specializations: philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of the human sciences. A habilitation or qualifications considered equivalent are desired
He/She possesses the scientific skills required to teach and supervise work at the Bachelor and Master levels as well as to supervise doctoral theses
The position holder must be able to teach in French or German. The ability to teach in the other language is expected within two years following the start of employment
