As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling (AJB) is responsible for services in the area of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the heart of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
The Scholarships Department of the AJB examines and decides on applications for training contributions. The processing team handles around 9,500 applications annually. We look forward to welcoming a decisive and energetic employee to our team from August or by arrangement. The position is fixed-term until 31 December 2028. In this role, you will share responsibility for an efficient processing unit in the Scholarships Department. Training will be provided by experienced clerks.
You bring:
- completed commercial basic training (commercial clerk EFZ)
- at least two years of professional experience in complex processing, preferably in public administration
- interest in legal issues
- confident German language skills, both spoken and written
- independent and structured way of working
- ability to make difficult decisions independently
- high flexibility and openness to change
- and of course a collegial and appreciative manner
