As a movement therapist on our psychiatric wards, you accompany people in challenging life situations and support them in developing new access to themselves through movement and body awareness. With your professional competence and empathetic attitude, you make an important contribution to a holistic, psychotherapeutically oriented treatment.

Your tasks

• You offer group and individual therapies on the IDM ward (Integrated Depression Treatment Münsingen) as well as group therapies on TAM (Therapy Ward for Addiction Münsingen) and QEM (Qualified Withdrawal Münsingen)
• You support patients with movement- and body-oriented interventions to find a new access to themselves, their perception and their means of expression
• You participate in interdisciplinary, theme-centred ward training sessions
• You accompany people with a psychotherapeutically oriented therapeutic approach in achieving greater psychological flexibility and stability
• You engage in interprofessional exchange on the wards, contribute to an expanded understanding of cases and prepare documentation
• You can effectively contribute your expertise and experience
• You pass on your expertise in the guidance and supervision of therapy interns

Your profile

• You have a recognised therapeutic training in the field of movement, dance, body or drama therapy
• You enjoy leading groups and can empathise well with people in difficult life situations
• Your working method is psychotherapeutically oriented and you are familiar with contemporary psychotherapy concepts
• You ideally have experience in the mentioned areas as well as further training in a mindfulness-based method (e.g. trauma-sensitive yoga) or are willing to undertake such training
• You are socially competent, independent, resilient and a team player
