Purpose of the Role
As a Process Engineer in the "PCE Machining" team, you are the central interface between production, team leaders, and management. You support manufacturing by analysing and optimising production processes. Additionally, you drive lean and digitalisation initiatives and ensure that production workflows operate efficiently, sustainably, and without disruption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new and existing production processes to ensure stable and efficient production
- Define and integrate new equipment (production plants, operating resources, and fixtures)
- Participate in and lead larger and smaller projects
- Work closely with internal teams as well as external partners
- Troubleshoot operational production challenges (2nd level support)
- Create and present concepts, documentation, and training materials for our processes
Qualifications
- Completed basic training as a polymechanic or comparable qualification
- Independent, solution- and goal-oriented working style
- Experience in an industrial production environment, good understanding of production processes
- Good communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and teamwork ability
- Innovative spirit, pragmatic hands-on mentality, and strong enthusiasm for process engineering challenges
- German and English spoken and written
- Experience with LEAN management methods (LEAN Six Sigma training is an advantage)
- Good MS Office skills, experience with MS PowerBI is an advantage
