The AniCura Animal Clinic Thun is a center for small animal medicine and is one of the largest clinics in Switzerland. To strengthen our team in Thun, we are looking for a
Specialist Veterinarian / Diplomate in Veterinary Anesthesia (ECVAA/ACVAA) (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
Leading role in our anesthesia team
Planning, execution, and supervision of anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures (small animals)
Clinical guidance and training of veterinarians, residents, and VAT/TPA team
Further development of anesthesia and analgesia protocols as well as internal standards
Close interdisciplinary collaboration (surgery, internal medicine, ECC, imaging, ICU)
Participation in anesthesia emergency service (well structured, low frequency)
Your profile:
Completed residency program or Diplomate ECVAA/ACVAA
Solid knowledge in balanced anesthesia, multimodal analgesia, and modern monitoring
Experience and/or interest in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques
Team-oriented, responsible, and communicative working style
Enjoyment of teaching, clinical development, and quality management
Good German skills or willingness to learn them with support
