On behalf of the municipalities, the Cantonal Office of Social Services fulfils the task of providing social and addiction assistance to people and supports them in accessing financial social assistance. To this end, it manages eight regional social services in the canton’s regions.
The Prettigovia/Herrschaft/Fünf Dörfer social service is responsible for 18 municipalities, with a catchment area of 43,000 people.

For the Landquart office, we are looking for a social worker immediately or from a date to be agreed. The position is fixed-term until 30 April 2027.
- Solution- and resource-oriented social counselling for individuals and families
- Ensuring access to social insurance benefits as well as financial social assistance
- Advice on linguistic, professional and social integration for recognised refugees, provisionally admitted persons and foreigners
- Collaboration with social authorities and specialised services
- Other varied, interesting and responsible activities
- Completed training as a social worker BSc/SUP or equivalent qualification
- Aptitude for working with people from different social backgrounds and/or cultural origins
- Strong counselling skills as well as solid specific knowledge of social assistance law in the field of social insurance
- Friendliness, ability to cope with intense work rhythms, team spirit, good communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ideally, good knowledge of foreign languages
- Independent and solution-oriented working method
