Team Leader Production Metrology (m/f/d)

Role:
In this leadership role, you will take on the operational management of a production team and ensure an efficient, high-quality manufacturing process. You coordinate resources, optimise production processes, and ensure compliance with quality, deadline, and safety requirements. At the same time, you drive the continuous improvement of manufacturing and promote collaboration with internal specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Technical and organisational leadership of a production team as well as support of employees in daily work
Planning, control, and monitoring of the on-time production schedule considering capacities and priorities
Ensuring compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, norms, and delivery deadlines
Ongoing monitoring and optimisation of production performance, efficiency, and resource utilisation
Execution and supervision of calibration and adjustment of measuring and testing equipment
Implementation and communication of occupational safety and health protection measures within production
Creation and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and continuously improve production processes
Close cooperation with adjacent specialist departments and managers to optimise cross-departmental processes
Participation in the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and the further development of production processes
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training, for example as a polymechanic or in a comparable professional field
Further training in leadership, production or management is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in a leading role within a production environment
Knowledge in metrology, automation technology or comparable industrial manufacturing areas is desirable
Experience with lean methods, continuous process improvement, and quality management
Analytical thinking as well as structured and solution-oriented working style
Communicative personality with strong team skills and high willingness to learn
Good French and English skills are an advantage
Fluent German skills
