For an external customer project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the role of Business Analysis / Requirements Engineering at the senior level (from 5 years) starting from 01.07.2026
Brief description:
Captures and documents requirements and business/use cases/user stories together with the business analysts / requirements engineers and coordinates product releases with project management, supports the Scrum team, prioritizes and maintains the product backlog.
Main tasks:
- Ensuring the needs of stakeholders in product realization
- Identifying and analyzing needs, capturing and documenting requirements
- Participation in Scrum events
- Managing product backlog and tasks to ensure product goals
- Prioritizing entries in the product backlog to generate the greatest value
- Support and optimization within the project team
- Collaboration with project management, business analysts, and the Scrum team
Requirements:
Education, training, and certification:
- University degree/FH degree in (business) computer science or training as an IT specialist EFZ and corresponding further training
- Further training in agile software development (e.g., Product Owner) is an advantage
- More than five years of professional experience in the field
- Knowledge of agile principles and frameworks, especially in the role of Product Owner
- Practical application of agile software development including tools and metrics in complex projects
- Understanding of software development of complex applications
- Experience in collaboration with public administration (police organizations and other blue light organizations/intelligence service preferred)
- Very good German skills (at least level C1) and good English skills, spoken and written
- Impeccable reputation, acceptance of a personal security check, and signing of the confidentiality agreement
- Ability to advise and solve problems in demanding and complex issues
- Good analytical skills
