The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (JPA) treats adolescents aged 13 - 18 years who are affected by psychological crises or disorders such as depression and suicidal crises, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety disorders, psychoses, psychologically induced school problems, activity and attention disorders, or identity and personality development disorders. The treatment concept is psychotherapeutic and psychiatric and is based on developmental psychological and milieu therapeutic concepts and experiences.

Social Pedagogue BA or Certified Nurse FH/HF 100% (fixed-term) for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Department

Your Tasks

• Professional nursing/pedagogical treatment and care of patients aged 13 - 18 years
• Planning and support of the inpatient stay during admission, assessment, treatment, and discharge phases, including initiating follow-up treatment within the department's internal key worker system
• Function-related crisis interventions in psychiatric and somatic emergency situations (24-hour operation including night duty)
• Close collaboration with relatives
• Documentation and performance recording within nursing/pedagogy

Your Competences

• Degree as Social Pedagogue BA or as Certified Nurse FH/HF with proven expertise and experience in psychiatry. For foreign nursing diplomas, SRK registration is required. The costs for registration are covered by the UPK.
• You have very good oral and written German skills as well as good IT knowledge
• You show interest in developmental and change processes and want to actively shape them
• High degree of independence and decision-making competence
• Willingness for self-reflection and personal development
• You are committed and resilient, with a strong service orientation
• Team player with a positive attitude; you enjoy working independently but also appreciate teamwork
