Process Engineer Extrusion - 100 %

• Further development and optimisation of our existing plant equipment in close cooperation with the group’s production sites.
• Support of investment projects in the area of compounding and extrusion as well as participation in the technological advancement of our production capacities.
• Conducting process engineering trials to increase cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency and process reliability.
• Planning and accompanying production trials within development projects, especially with alternative polymers, additives, carriers and new developments.
• Analysis, evaluation and optimisation of existing production processes as well as internal workflows.
• Initiation and implementation of technical improvement projects to increase plant availability and operational safety.
• Supervision of scale-up productions from development projects and ensuring a stable transfer to series production.
• Close collaboration with development, production, quality assurance and maintenance for holistic process optimisation.
• Documentation and evaluation of trial results as well as deriving well-founded recommendations for action.
• Conducting training for employees and active participation in the training of our apprentices.

• Completed studies in plastics engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field. Alternatively, a technical basic education with corresponding further training (HF, TS) and several years of practical experience.
• Several years of experience in compounding and extrusion, ideally in the plastics or construction industry.
• Sound knowledge in process engineering, materials science (polymers, additives) and extrusion processes.
• Experience in planning, conducting and evaluating trials in laboratory and production environments as well as in investment and optimisation projects.
• Ability to evaluate trial data in a structured manner and to prepare and present technical results clearly.
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style.
• High overview and ability to set clear priorities even in a dynamic development environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and implementation strength.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
