Automation Technician with Electrical Engineering Focus
Tasks
- Independently wire and assemble electrical and control assemblies considering circuit diagrams and parts lists
- Carry out assembly and tubing of valve islands, cylinders and actuators according to pneumatic plans
- Perform functional tests and trial runs on systems in the factory
- Identify and report deviations, faulty parts and material shortages in the production process
- Wire control cabinets according to schematics and plans and keep electrical documentation up to date
Requirements
- Completed training as an automation technician or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in mechanical or plant engineering is an advantage
- Solid understanding of circuit diagrams, electrical engineering, pneumatics and basic knowledge of PLC controls such as Siemens S7/TIA Portal
- Precise, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a commitment to high quality
- Very good German skills with advantageous English skills for international communication
