Deputy Head of Building Cleaning 80 - 100%

The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for safety in the canton. Our building cleaning team is responsible for cleaning all properties of the Zurich Cantonal Police. To strengthen our team and support the management, we are looking for a responsible and committed personality as:

Deputy Head of Building Cleaning 80 - 100%

Tasks

• Personnel and organizational leadership of the team leaders and their approximately 35-40 employees from various cultures
• Planning and conducting training on topics such as occupational safety, IT tools, and cleaning processes
• Participation in budget responsibility, cost control, and responsibility for material management
• Administrative tasks such as creating process documentation
• Collaboration on projects
• Conducting regular employee discussions and evaluations of the team leaders, as well as their further development, absence management, and conducting health discussions
• Support and representation of the head of building cleaning

Profile

• Completed basic training (EFZ) with several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable position
• Completed further education at the level of federal diploma or a comparable qualification in the field, as well as additional training in leadership
• Resilience and enjoyment in leadership and taking responsibility in independent work
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT applications
• Driving license category B
• Willingness to work outside regular working hours
• Impeccable character
