About the job
The position is located in the Vice-Rectorate for Studies and Teaching at the University of St.Gallen. We specifically support lecturers and study programmes, drive innovative teaching and learning solutions forward, and actively shape teaching innovation projects. We serve as a central support office for questions regarding curriculum and study programme development, didactic topics, and technical teaching-learning infrastructure. The Media Lab is available to all lecturers. We take care of the operation in self-service and the infrastructure. Become part of our exciting network!
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the operation and further development of the Media Lab in self-service with podcast studio, RapidMooc studio, greenscreen studio, video and audio equipment, software for media production and post-production.
- You take care of the maintenance of the podcast and video studios.
- You conduct professional clarifications and advise, accompany, and train lecturers in the targeted use of suitable media.
Your profile
- You have experience in the production of audiovisual content.
- You have experience in handling video and audio equipment.
- You have experience in the use and maintenance of a podcast studio and a simple video studio.
- You use post-production software (Adobe, DaVinci etc.) professionally.
- You have basic knowledge in the creation of learning videos (conceptually and in production).
- You enjoy advising others and conveying technical content in an understandable way.
- You have good communication skills and presentation competence for in-class inputs.
- You are familiar with the educational landscape.
- You work independently, show a high degree of initiative and service orientation.
- Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
