As a Professional Education & Development Manager (m/f/d) - Vision Care DACH, you are responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous advancement of educational and training programmes for opticians, optometrists, and other professional groups, with a focus on Switzerland. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and promote knowledge transfer regarding Alcon products, technologies, and clinical topics. The position is based in a home office.
A typical working day in this role includes:
Development, planning, and delivery of educational, training, and continuing education programmes for customers and professional partners.
Creation of training materials, presentations, and digital learning content.
Organisation and conduct of training sessions and workshops.
Organisation of participation in congresses.
Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), universities, and professional associations; active participation in association work.
Professional and technical support for customers and internal teams.
Presentation of scientific and clinical content at professional events.
Evaluation and continuous optimisation of training programmes.
Management of projects in the area of Professional Education & Development.
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
Completed studies in the field of optometry/optics.
Several years of professional experience in optometry/optics.
Experience in planning and conducting training sessions, workshops, and events.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
High level of personal responsibility as well as strong project management and organisational skills.
Existing network within the Swiss optometry and optics industry is an advantage.
Very good German, English, and French language skills.
