The Hydroelectric Plant Maintenance Center of Mesolcina is responsible for managing the hydroelectric plants in the Mesolcina and Calanca valleys. To complete the staff, we are looking for an SSS Technician in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the proper functioning of the remote control systems of hydroelectric plants and transmission networks
• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and modernization work on electromechanical systems in various hydroelectric plants
• Management, maintenance, and commissioning of remote control systems
• Collaboration in automation system renewal projects

Profile & Requirements:

• SSS Technician in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training
• Flexibility and team work attitude, excellent organizational and management skills
• Knowledge of common computer programs
• Skills in remote control and telecommunication systems are a plus
• Availability for on-call duty
• Availability for shift work in the control room
• Knowledge of the German language is a plus
• Residence in Mesolcina or Val Calanca is a plus
