In Orpund (approx. 3200 inhabitants), around 290 children are taught in 11 primary classes and 4 kindergartens by a motivated team of around 60 teachers. The school building is located in a preferred green area near the forest. We are a suburban community of Biel, which is quickly accessible by bus.

15 lessons as a part-time teacher for two 3rd/4th grade classes.
Working hours Monday whole day (7 lessons), Tuesday morning (4 lessons), Friday morning (4 lessons)
Subjects: Music, Sports, NMG, German, Swimming, French (4th grade), Visual Arts

2 lessons team teaching (German & NMG)
6 lessons half-class teaching (French 4th grade)
Requirements
We are looking for an upbeat teacher who enjoys investing in teamwork and collaboration. We wish for a teacher who engages our children in a relationship-oriented and winning manner and adopts a clear pedagogical stance.
A transparent and appreciative collaboration with parents and all involved parties is important to us and the key to a successful school.
Preferably a primary teaching certificate or a bachelor’s degree for primary education. Teachers in training as a team are also warmly welcome.
