IT Operations Engineer

To strengthen our IT Services & Operations team, we are looking for an IT Operations Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our IT landscape – from the modern workplace to central platforms to production-related IT services.
Your tasks:
- You ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of our IT services, platforms, and workplace environments
- You operate, monitor, and maintain infrastructure, workplace, and platform services and ensure clean monitoring, alerting, and up-to-date documentation
- You analyze disruptions and incidents, take over root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions; you act as a 2nd-level and escalation contact person
- You implement changes, maintenance work, and service improvements in close coordination with architecture, engineering, and security teams
- You accompany the handover of new or changed solutions from "Change the Business" to operational operation ("Run the Business")
- As needed, you also support IT support directly at the production lines in our plants (1st level) and thus contribute to the smooth operation of production-related IT systems
Your profile:
- Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or an IT-related degree
- Basic experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or similar operational roles
- Good understanding of enterprise IT environments (workplace, infrastructure, platforms, or services)
- Experience in operating and troubleshooting Windows environments (clients, servers, Active Directory, etc.)
- Experience in Linux environments is an advantage
- A structured, analytical way of working with a focus on stability and reliability
- You enjoy continuously improving processes and pragmatically driving things forward and taking responsibility
- You like working in a global team and across IT areas
- Very good English skills, spoken and written
